Job Title:  Customer Service Representative

POSITION SUMMARY

Facilitates the complete customer relationship from first contact through the ordering, shipping, and sales follow-up process.  Provides after-sales support to Canadian consumers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate superior customer service skills in both English and French by providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries regarding availability, delivery, price and product information, as well as general company information.
  • Answer phone and Zendesk inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide support for sales team by updating reports, providing leads and other miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Promptly and accurately process customer orders received via e-mail, fax, EDI, Zendesk, or phone into SAP.
  • Importing/exporting EDI orders, ASN’s and invoices throughout the day.
  • Problem solving EDI errors by working with our trading partners and True Commerce.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and order compliance with related contracts, standards, processes, policies and procedures.
  • Recognize potential problems and implement solutions in assigned activities.
  • Maintain applicable reports, records, and systems (manual and computerized).
  • Provide quality responses to customers about list prices and new product inquiries and requests.
  • Assist other departments i.e. Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Warehouse/Shipping, etc. where appropriate and develop solid internal partnerships to ensure our customers’ satisfaction.
  • General receptionist duties including answering multi-line phone, routing calls to appropriate person, greet and manage visitors, filing, and other office support.
  • Maintain customer contact and other applicable records within accounting system(s), customer service system(s), or other systems, as required.
  • Provide management with informative feedback (positive or negative) from customers.

Job Title:  Bookkeeper

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bookkeeper is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and account reconciliation at Diono Canada.

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accounts Payable processing including voucher entry, payment preparation, inventory transactions
  • Accounts Receivable processing including incoming payments, reconciliations, deposits.
  • Period and Year-End reconciliations and reporting
  • Liason with US office with regard to inter-company accounts and FE
  • Maintain electronic and manual filing systems
  • Provide support and assist other departments as required

Job Title:  Warehouse Lead
Department:  Logistics
Reports To:  Warehouse Manager
ESA Status:  Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining the organizational integrity of the warehouse, material handling, and shipping & receiving duties at Diono Canada.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Pick, pack, label, and ship products according to customer order requirements with 100% accuracy
  • Prepare shipping labels and assemble outbound shipments
  • Follow all transportation policies and routing guides
  • Informed and well versed in shipments to “Big-Box” accounts such as WalMart, Babies ‘R’ Us, Target, etc.
  • Receive new inventory shipments and ensure accuracy
  • Receive product returns and determine legitimacy of claims
  • Knowledgeable with international and domestic shipping standards and regulations
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Assist with product inventory management and strive for 100% inventory accuracy
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized
  • Use material handling equipment to safely and efficiently move items throughout the warehouse
  • Alert management to any inconsistencies or need for inventory adjustments
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts; inspecting equipment; ensuring items stored in appropriate bin locations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and order compliance with related contracts, standards, processes, policies, and procedures
  • Assist other departments when needed
  • Various administrative duties as assigned
  • Act as backup for Warehouse Manager duties as required
  • Work safely and in accordance with company Health and Safety guidelines

Daily delegation of duties to Warehouse Associates and temporary labourers
